Faizan E Madina is the largest purpose built Mosque in East Anglia with a capacity of 3,000 worshippers, this congregations was originally based at 60,Cromwell Road, Peterborough which was the very first place of worship in the city for Muslims, first established in 1967

This page is dedicated to 3 gentlemen who made a huge personal contributions to the original Mosque

1) The late Maullana Ghulam Jillani, the very first Imam of the Mosque in Peterborough, he worked tirelessly to set-up religious education for Muslim youngsters in the city

2) The Late Maullana Abdul Mustafa, he served the city as an Imam for more than 20 years making many personal sacrifices, he was also a friend and religious mentor to me

3) The late Chaudhary Maqbool Hussain, the former chairman of the Mosque and the brainchild behind the establishment of Faizan E Madina Mosque, unfortunately he passed away before his dream became a reality

I am personally indebted to all 3 gentlemen for providing me with the religious, spiritual and moral guidance from an early age, their teachings, guidance and influence plays a huge part in my life every day, May Allah SWT have Show Mercy on them all Ameen
